In Semester 1, the Showcase Semester, we develop each student’s triple-threat skills in singing, dancing and acting for an end-of-semester public performance. In Semester 2, the Show Semester, students work over 20 weeks to put on a full-scale musical with set, props and costumes.
Aug to Dec 2025 · 14 weeks. Developing the skills to sing, dance and act, with time dedicated to techniques and confidence in all three to put into practice when they perform.
Each week students work on songs and scenes from popular musicals: harmonies one week, group dance the next, then vocal projection and acting.
Selected performance items are showcased to friends and family at the end of term.
Jan to Jun 2026 · 20 weeks. Teachers find scripts and stories that feature students equally. Previous shows include The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and Seussical the Musical.
Students rehearse scenes and songs, with understudy and production roles assigned so everyone stays engaged throughout.
A full-scale musical in our Black Box Theatre, with professional sets, lighting, sound and costumes.
Applicable for Semester 2 only. A costume fee is automatically added at checkout. Each student receives a costume to wear in the show, which they keep afterwards.
No. Any missed classes are not refunded and are forfeited.
Sing’theatre Academy T-shirts must be worn to all classes. Additional fees may apply for class materials and dance wear.
